Yin Yoga and sound bath

When: Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020 FULL and

Saturday, November 21 FULL , 2:00 - 4:00 PM

Cost: $45 per person (tax included)

Due to the popularity of this workshop, a second date has been added. Reservations for the November date will Open on October 15th at noon. 

Assumpta is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), Mudra and Sound Healing practitioner and Eve is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) and Sound Healing practitioner

You will be guided on a journey of deep relaxation with a gentle Yin Yoga practice, followed by a soothing Sound Bath and a peaceful Guided Meditation. In the sound bath, you will be immersed with the resonant sounds of singing bowls, bells, chimes, and a variety of percussion instruments. Enjoy and experience the beautiful sounds, vibrations and tones of these instruments which are healing for your body, mind, and spirit. You will leave feeling rested and rejuvenated. 

This nurturing class offers plenty of modifications and variations to support your body. Students of all levels are welcome. You are invited to wear comfortable, layered clothing, including a sweater and socks to keep you warm and cozy and an eye cover (scarf or eye mask) for the sound bath. Please bring your own mat and props such as bolsters and blocks, but due to COVID-19 policies please leave your blankets at home. 

If this is your first time at the studio, please arrive 15 minutes early to get settled in and to let Assumpta and Eve know if you have any medical conditions or injuries so modifications or variations can be offered.

Wheel Yoga

Are you looking to deepen your practice, challenge your balance, and open your heart? Then let’s get
rolling!!! 

When: Sunday, December 13 

Time: 10:30 am (55 mins)

Cost: $18 per person (tax included) or use your single passes

Total Spaces Available: 10

In this specialty class, we will be using the Yoga Wheel as a prop to support us in a slow flow sequence that focuses on opening our shoulders and chest, stretching our hips, challenging our core, and finding balance. This class will teach you the basics of using the Yoga Wheel and how this therapeutic tool can help increase range of motion and release tight muscles.
You will learn foundational postures using the Yoga Wheel that are beginner-friendly, safe, and accessible.

 

This is an all-levels class, no experience required, and modifications and variations will be offered. This class is not suitable for students recovering from back, shoulder, or ankle injuries.


A Yoga Wheel and hard blocks will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in and bring your own mat and water bottle.
